I came across this article and really liked it. It’s about the common mistakes that photographers at varying levels of proficiency can make. Whether a beginner, an amateur, or a pro, there is something here for you.
Week #3 had me out a couple of times, but it was a little on the rainy side for much of the week. Shooting in the rain was new to me as I usually am a good weather photographer, but I liked how it stretched me. I do like the oil and water picture I shot near my house.
A local group put on an event called Drag Queen Bingo. Not to get too deep into detail, but I ended up winning. The Drag queen in the picture isn’t me. That however was one of my bingo cards. I did not make a good drag queen. I did choose two pictures that day. I might do that now and again.
I’ve grown to really like the Atwood Building in downtown Anchorage. I love the light play and reflections. You’ll likely see more of that in the future.
The picture of mold was the first day in the project where I went way out of my way to get a shot. The final shot of the week of the lovely May Day Trees was a shot I phoned in. When you see pictures from this park in downtown Anchorage, it means I was having a tough day finding shots to be inspired by.
