We are on our way to Costa Rica!
The journey of 1,000 steps begins with a pat down at TSA. Or something like that.
We are at Anchorage’s Ted Stevens Airport on the way to Seattle then to Miami, and finally to Liberia.
I plan to have fun with the 365 Photo Project while we’re traveling.
I’ll be honest. Taking a photo a day lately has been hard with so much darkness in Alaska. I’m looking forward to some tropical weather and stunning beaches and jungle. Having just passed the six month mark of the 365 photo project, I’m thinking this will be a great way to renew some creativity.
I have with me a borrowed lens, a 55 to 200mm zoom with image stabilization. Thanks, James for the loaner.
We arrive around noon local time tomorrow. The first few days will see us at the Hotel Luna Azul near Ostinal. Eventually we will be at the Four Seasons. More on why we are there later.
While on vacation, I plan to update my previous weeks of photos. I’m a little behind right now. But I also plan to try to use this as a diary of the trip so friends and family can keep track of our adventures.
