October 30-November 5, 2012
This is the week the 365 Photo Project got a little harder.
The day light finally reached a point where it was harder to shoot in the evening after work. It forced me to get a little more creative with my shooting.
The first shot of the week was to show that we finally had some significant snow. Up to this point, we hadn’t seen much.
Halloween was this week of course. I finally got with the program and shot the pumpkin across the street from our house.
The Thursday shot was a two fer. At work, we presented a group called Break of Reality. They were awesome. As part of the run up to the show, we did a Fluffy Bunny-style secret concert at Subzero Micro Lounge. The next two shots were taken at Subzero. I thought the red cello case was really cool.
This is tree, one of the founders of the group. We was an amazing cello rock star.
As their final number, they did a really cool version of Florence + the Machine’s Shake it Out. Really awesome night.
On Friday, Evan had a special event at his carpet store, Florcraft. It was called 50 Shades of Beige. It was a fun idea. He paired it with a First Friday and hung art in his store. This is the President of the company.
Saturday, we went shopping for tour books for our upcoming trip to Costa Rica.
Since this picture was taken, we’ve been to Costa Rica. The entire set of posts on that trip can be found here.
Usually, Evan and I go to coffee on Sundays. On this Sunday, we decided to break our tradition and make breakfast at home. It was a gorgeous morning. Since then, we’ve done Sundays at home. Hmmmm. Pancakes.
The final shot of week was to show that Christmas is starting to show up, even on November 5. It won’t be long now. It’s amazing how early the Christmas stuff goes up.
